Zombie Love

I walked back down the stairs and stopped at the last step.  Every one else had left from our little Zombie Movie night.  Now it was just me and Stella. It was kind of quiet once Katie, Melanie, and Adam were gone.  Yes, they are my really good friends but sometimes... I just need to not be with them.  They are so loud you can't even think. I don't understand how Stella can get a word in when she's when with Katie and Melanie.
"So," Stella leaned her head back against the couch cushion and looked over at me, "Did you fall asleep during the movie?"
She blinked, "Psh... No. I did not."
"Ha alright just checking." I glanced at the floor, Adam's phone was lying there. He'll probably be half way home when hes realizes he left it and come back to get it.
"Hey Jason?"
"Yes?" I hopped off the last step and jumped onto the opposite end of the couch.
"I have a question," I looked up at her. Her hair was falling from her messy pony tail, "What would you do if I kissed you?"
I blinked. Ha. Oh man. That's an easy question. I would. . . Well. Not like I would tell her exactly. . .
"Um, I don't really know..?"
"Oh come on Jason. It's not that difficult," I pulled my eyebrows together in confusion. She rolled her eyes, "Think about it. Lets say.... Paige Monroe just came up and just started to try and make out with you."
I get a that sudden image in my head. I'm just walking down the hallway then Paige jumps out and wraps her skinny little chicken arms around me grabbing my face. I stopped and cringed.
Stella saw the disgusted look on my face, "But see. With the 'I don't know.' made it seem like you would be perfectly fine with swapping spit with that ugly Paige. But, I know that you would probably push her away. So," She shifted how she was sitting, crossing her legs out in front of her, "Knowing that, If I kissed you would you one: push me away and go 'EW', two: just kinda stand there and not do anything, ooorrrrr, three: kiss me back?"
Three. definitely three..."Wow," I gave a chuckle, "Stella you can over analyze things. Why do you want to know anyway?"
She leaned back against the couch then glanced at me quickly, "Umm.." She looked again again awkwardly, "No reason. Oh you know me. I think of random things."
"Stella, random is asking me if I like cheese pizza. Answer: yes. But, I don't think that was a random question."
Her cheeks turned pink.
"Come on, why did you ask? You can tell me." I gave a big smile.
"Hmm...," She looked at me, her eyes looking a darker blue in the dim light of the basement, "Alright. I lied earlier, I actually did fall asleep during the movie."
"Ha. Knew it."
"Yeah.. ANYWAY! Somewhere between the main Zombie Slayer stopping a zombie from eating that guy's brain and him almost getting killed for like the fifteenth time in the movie I fell asleep and well..." She paused and started to laugh, "Promise you wont laugh?" I nodded my head, "Ok. Well, I just had like some random dream that I tried to kiss you... Why? I don't know. You completely flipped out though and then you weren't my friend anymore and hated me. I woke up kind of freaking out cause I was thinking Oh no! Jason hates me now! Then... I realized I was just dreaming... So... Yeah..."
She looked at me with a look that was slightly embarrassed.
"Oh Stella that would never happen. I would never hate you for that."
"Alright good to know! Yet. The question still remains unanswered."
I paused. "What would you do if the situation was flipped around?"
"Um. Excuse me. I asked first." She crossed her arms over herself, her eyebrow raised.
"Well," I mimicked her, "I asked second."
She rolled her eyes. "Well..." She moved again. Letting her legs hang off the couch. She was sitting slightly closer to me now,"I don't really know. I haven't really thought about it."
Then an idea hit me. I moved, getting closer to her, "Well... I think I know how we can figure it out."
Stella dark blue eyes locked onto mine. I reached my hand out and set it lightly on the side of face, by her ear. She lightly bit her lip. We both started to lean in. Less then an inch. A centimeter. Less then a centimeter.
"Hey Jason I - Whoa!" Adam was suddenly standing there at the end of the stairs. Me and Stella jumped back from each other, our lips had barely touched, "Oh. I'm Um. Sorry." Adam said looking at the ground, "I just. Came back because I left my phone here.. Sorry. Didn't mean to interrupt anything." He glanced up awkwardly.
I picked his phone up off the floor and handed it to him, "It's ok."
Adam looked at his phone then over to Stella then to me, "Ok... I'm gonna... Yeah I'll go." He spun around on his heals and walked up the stairs quickly.
I laughed, "What are the odds of that happening?"
Stella bursted out laughing, "Slim. Very slim."

Like Vines We Intertwine

Dear Someone,
There is always that someone that is always in your life.  They may not be in your life every second.  Maybe even come and go, but.  They are in it. Some how, some way they are in it. making an impact on your life. Someone you wont ever forget.
You could be thinking about this on a friend level or a romantic level or what ever. It honestly doesn't matter.  But for some reason.  I think those people impact you more sometimes.  Good or bad.  Since maybe they aren't always there so you're not so completely use to seeing them around.
You know like in movies. Or well I can think of one specific movie called "Definitely, Maybe" with Ryan Reynolds (aka... Mr. Attractiveness.)
Here's the plot. Will (Ryan Reynolds) is a dad going though a divorce and has 10 year old daughter named Maya.  She wanted to her how her parents met.  He tells her but he also makes it a mystery because he tells the two other relations ships that also intertwined with the same time that he met her mom. He changed the names of the women in the story and she had to figure it out.
It's shown in like flashback mode but it comes back to the present so she can ask questions and things like that.
But these women kept coming in and out of Will's life and they made him extremely happy, sad, crazy, and made him fall in love.  And they all met on a chance and ran into each other all the time.  He married one and is now getting a divorce.  But he is still in loved the one of the other women.
When I think of peoples lives being intertwined I immediately think of this movie.
Does that this happen with everyone?
You knew them before, then lost contact. Then one random Saturday a few years later you are just going to the grocery store and y'all run into each other again.  You catch up then after that hang out a few times then get separated again with out expressing deeper true feelings. And though out that time of absents you never really get over that person but you never think you two will see each other again so you try to move on. But. It never really happens. Your like a fly on glue paper, completely and utterly stuck.  Then in the end when you think all hope is lost. A small beacon of realisations shines down on you and the thought finally occurs to you that you can't love with out them so you go run off and find them.  Then the whole "I love you.  I always have and I always will." thing happens followed by a shocked smile a few tears and "I love you too!" and MWAH a kiss to seal the deal.
It's weird. Cause you think about it and think Psh.... That's not gonna happen to me. But hey. You never know til it actually happens.

Not Enough Songs Out There Titled Brooke

Dear Someone,
I would think it would extreamly romantic if a guy wrote a song for me, don't you agree? Something pretty and beautiful. Something you would never get tired of listening to. But that's probably not gonna happen. . . But hey! This year for Halloween I'm going to be a princess who knows!? I might ACTUALLY meet my prince charming :D (ok... The princess thing is not set in stone BUT I'm pretty sure I'm going to do that) but either way I would be pretty happy if Price McDreamy pulled out his sexy guitar and started playing a beautiful baled that was met JUST for me and only me(:
But also havent you noticed there are....

Me and My Sister Talkin a Mile a Minute

Dear Someone,

OK! Brief explanation of what the heck this is. So, One day me and my sister are sitting at our kitchen table one morning.  My mother sitting with us.  Me and mt sister are talking like we normally do. Pretty much a mile a minute. And as we are done talking my mom opens her Laptop just a little more. She got slightly bored and started to write down the things we were saying. Some people might say thats weird. Me on the other hand thought it was hilarious! SO. Here is me and my sister conversation pretty much exactly. My mom missed a few things because me and my sister talked so fast. So it might not make total sense. But hey she did a pretty good job. . . Yeah also. NAMES HAVE BEEN CHAGED.. I don't know anyone named Alice. so. Yes just letting y'all know.

"Aw, she’s so cute.  She’s really hyper all the time. I love her.  She said, 'You said it like you were being mean. She thinks that you like Mike' .. Are you serious?  He’s mean."

"Anyway, yesterday at the dance, like this kid told me a while ago that he likes me.  His cousin. Yeah. You’re really pretty.  He was like yeah.  Kim. You look pretty too.  I was on the phone.  I used a friends phone.  Any who.He like taps me on the shoulder.  Good. Good. Hows Kim.  I like you a lot more.  I know she likes you.  So I am going to find my friend Bri, so bye."

 "Doesn't really matter."

"Oh my gosh, you look so pretty.  You look good. I really like my hair.  You’re hair is so short.  Alice looks so pretty.  I loves her dress. It was ruffly on one side  She had her hair up."

"Adam texted me.  He asked how it was.  I said it was really cool."

"I am free as a bird.  Sing it to the world, man."

"I told her to at least call him.  He agreed to it.  So all these people said I can’t believe you did it over a text."

"Did you hear her laugh last night?   It freaked us out!
All of us, we screamed and jumped.  I think it was Kimmy.  It was the creepiest laugh I have ever heard in my laugh.  I liked jumped.  I am sorry that happened."

"Josey is really nice.  Just thought of saying that again.  We were both talking about it."

"We say hi randomly.  It’s not like I said anything to her.   I just stopped sitting by her."

"So anyways, I was at the mall.  I went by nordstrom.  You looked really pretty.  I like your dress.  I sprayed on sample on me.  You smell really good.  I said thank you."

"Kimmy you smell really good.  She said thank you.  I said your welcome and walked away."

"You smell really good.  I shall take that as a compliment.  How can you not take it as a compliment.  I don’t know."

"Prickly, Prickly"

"Laura was like.  This girl, she ran into me...ow."

"I don’t know what happens with them.  I stopped following their little drama pattern.(hahaha love that!)  They hang out all the time.  I don’t know what’s up.  Yeah."

"He is SO cute. So cute!  Laura’s older brother.  He really looks like someone."

"Laura.. They have the same eyes."

"Oh well they look similar  It’s not like I am attracted to Laura or anything."

"I was like hi.  She gave me a hug.  Umm I think he is coming later with Collin.  Do you know Collin?"

"Did they have fun at the dance?  I don’t know.  I didn’t really hang around them."

"Every Time  I look at them, it’s weird.  It messes up my brain a little bit. Like whoa.  I thought he was a senior!  One of his friends had cheated on her.  She told me about it like two days go.  Like I kept seeing him dance with this other chick."

And thats as much as my mom got. HA yes this is so lame but hey! Nothing else has really gone on in my life interesting enough to blog about. SO! yes.

There is Always At Lest One Girl Crying in the Corner at a Dance.

Dear Someone,
ALRIGHT! again. Not another short story. Sorry if you really wanted one. Next one probably will be one... Just letting you know!
SO! Homecoming.  It's tonight. WOO FUN! :D I'm excited.  And no. Not cause I think I'm gonna make some magical connection with a guy and dance the night away with him.. (OK. Only til 11pm... so technically not dancing the night away.... but I think you get what I mean) No. I'm excited because we get to dress up all fancy! You know the dress, the shoes, the hair, the make up, everything! I love it.  It's always fun! Totally makes you feel pretty which is always a nice change of pace from the normal drabness of your wardrobe lately.
Yet, no matter what you do! Drama always unfolds at these things.... Why? I don't know I ask my self every single time a dance rolls around. Why must it always happen at a dance!? I mean like three days before your life was as boring as dry toast with NOTHING going on.  Then the night of a dance.  BAM! Everything boils over and turns to crap and you end up crying in the bathroom, ruining your makeup you worked so hard on.
Isn't that just awesome?? haha.. No.
It's also really awkward when you are having a great time and then you walk in the bathroom and see like three girls surrounding one who is crying her eyes out.  Big black mascara filled tears running down her face, streaking her cheeks black.  Aw... I hate that! Makes your heart hurt to see it.  You really really want to help but also don't want to over crowd the poor child.
Who wants like 20 girls come up and asking them a million questions like "What happened?!" "Are you ok?!" or my favorite "Who do you want me to punch in the face?!"  Yes, all this means this mob of people care but when they are all asking questions at the same time its confusing.  The girl crying probably just wants to scream because there is no way to answer them all at once.  Too stressful. Very unpleasant if you ask me.
But, stuff happens and yes it sucks but its not like you planned that.  You can never really plan things for homecoming night.  You may be planning to finally dance with the guy you like but, he's off with some other chick. Or hey who knows. You might be like me, planning on the practical and expecting to just dance around with you're friends but who knows.  A twist of fate can happen and you meet you're prince charming, the other half to your heart, the peanut butter to your jelly... Ha yeah the chances of that second one at slim to none. But hey, You never know. But no matter what.  If it's you or someone else...

So There Is My RANDOM THOUGHT OF THE DAY :D ... Yeha I'm Not Going to be Doing This Every Day

Dear Someone,
Ok. Not short story. Just letting you know(: ahead of time.

You know, walking down the hallways of a very crowded high school you always over hear little bits and pieces of peoples conversations.  But in my... What, almost two months of my sophomore year I have pretty much averaged out the main two words people say.  The first word.. I shall not say on here because its a bad word *GASP* (starts with an f, just in case you were dying to know)
The second is the word "Hot"and no. They are not talking about the weather out side.  They are talking about that kid in their MathEnglishScienceAndWhatEverOtherClassesThereAre class.  So hearing all this I pretty much  know who they are talking about. If its a bunch of girls talking it's always the popular guys.  Yes. One or two of them are mighty fine BUT they are so full of them self it's not even worth waisting you time on crushing on them.
Also. You hear people saying they think that some one you are extremely close to is hot.
So this guy I am gonna name..... Ray. He has been in a few of my classes sense sixth grade.  I have always thought he was kinda cute.  This year I thought I could maybe have a smidge of a chance to get Ray to FINALLY notice me... Then I hear he thinks my friend is hot. Well, that makes you just want to sit at you're desk and doodle broken hearts all over my notebook. Ok, that was a lie. That would be a little over kill over a guy you have a ittybittytinny crush on.  Yet, he still thinks your friend is hot and still has no idea you are even there.
Sitting at the computer thinking of all this you realise non of you're friends run up to you saying they heard this guy thinks your hot  or attractive... Yet you can specifically remember doing that for them...  Hmm.... Something about doesn't seem fair does it.
WAIT! before you brake out the Ben&Jerry's Ice Cream and pop Sleepless in Seattle into the DVD player stop and think.
These guys are hearing just saying your friends are hot, just judging them on their appearance. Yet, hottness only goes skin deep.
Beautiful
Now that's a word.
Personally. I would rather be called beautiful once and have the person mean it then get called hot by a million other people. That's just me.
Beautiful.... That just sets you apart from all the other hundreds of girls out there. What makes you, you. It describes you inside and out.
Every one is beautiful.  It's just nice to hear it sometimes randomly with out warning.  Catches you by surprise when some one tells you.
So There Is My RANDOM THOUHT OF THE DAY :D ... Yeah I'm Not Going to be Doing This Every Day

To Kiss Her or Not to Kiss Her... That is The Question.

Dear Someone,
Another short story.. This is from *Jason's perspective* sooo sorry if me writing from guy perspective sucks. I don't do that very much so. Kinda new for me. . . (Also I put that in bold so people would know it was Jason's perspective so they didn't think it was Stella... cause that could be a little awkward..just letting y'all know)  Tell me what you think about it ok? Awesome(: Well... Enjoy :D

We both walked out to my car.  Stella walking next to me.  Our shadows stretched out across the speckled gray cement. The parking lot was half empty, most of the cars already done. We got to my car. A big black car.  It use to be my mom's until she got a new car.  So I got this one. It's pretty nice and spacious on the inside, I don't feel like I'm driving a clown car.
I pressed the unlock button and walked to the drivers side. I pulled the handle and the door swung open.  I slipped my back pack straps off my shoulders and threw my backpack into the back seat. I slid into the fabric covered seat and looked over.  Stella had thrown her navy blue backpack into the back seat with mine.  Then she tried to step into the car.  It looked to me as if she missed the little step to get into the car and ended up just falling onto the seat.  Her wavy brown hair falling in front of her face. I laughed, she looked up at me from behind the curtain of hair covering her heart shaped face.
"Oh... hey that was awkward."
She smiled embarrassed to herself then got in the car correctly this time.  The door shut behind her.  She went to pull her phone out of her back pocket.  When she dropped it onto her lap but it slipped off her jeans and onto the floor.  She leaned over to pick it up and hit her head on the glove compartment.
"Ow..."
She put her hand up to her forehead, scrunching up her small button nose and placed her phone neatly onto her lap making sure it didn't slip again.
I couldn't help but keep my eyes off her. She was so interesting to watch, the little faces she made. Like when you say something slightly inappropriate she tries to think its not funny but a trying-to-hold-back-the-laughter smile comes to her lips, or the way her cheeks blush when she keeps stumbling over her words. Just the fact that she smiles at the little things. Like when a song comes on that she likes, or when you say the smallest little thing that would mean absolutely nothing to everyone else even though its kind of important to you.  Stella gets that stuff.  Looks at the small things and sees it's beauty in it.
I turned the keys, the car came to life. I rolled the windows down to get some air into the car, but it was gonna just stay at the same heat until we started to drive.
She pushed her brown wavy hair behind her ears, letting it fall around her shoulders. She glanced over at me.
"What?"
She asked, one of her eye brows up in curiosity, giving me that "Stella Look".  Her dark blue eyes met mine.  I felt like I was drowning in her sea colored eyes.  Unable/unwilling to look away. I did anyway by looking down at my steering wheel then back at her.
"Oh Stella, Stella, Stella." I said, laughter in my voice.
"Oh Jason, Jason, Jason." She copied the way I said it, getting tongue tied towards the end. She stopped then gave her "awkward" Stella smile. I knew she was thinking something like Oh that was a fail... Oh well I'll just sit here and look cute. Or maybe she wasn't.  Then she leaned over, setting her elbow on the arm rest, getting closer to me. I smiled.
It would be so easy for me to just lean over and kiss her. I wanted to.  really bad for some reason.  Something stopped me though.  Maybe it was the fact that I didn't know what she thinks of me.  Ok, I know she's ok with me, obviously considering she is in my car with me right now hanging out with me.  But, like me the way I like her.  How would she react if I did that if i just leaned over and POW kissed her, right on the lips? Would she be ok with it... or not?
I looked at her hand that was placed under her chin.  My eyes followed her ivory colored arm down to her elbow that was on the armrest.  I stopped there.
Thinking of all that. I attempted to throw that kissing idea out of my head.  It lasted for oh... a second. It came back the second I looked at her raspberry colored lips.
I backed out of my parking spot looking in the rear view mirror making sure it was all clear.  Then i slowly rolled the car out of the parking lot.  I made sure to go kinda slow just in case.  I didn't  want to accidentally run over one of my classmates. How awful would that be?
Once we hit the street and got past at lest 20mph the wind came in through the windows, instantly cooling things off.
"Would you like to listen to some musica?"
"Sí!" Stella smiled back, happy that she could use the one Spanish word she knows.
I pressed the power button onto the stereo. At first there was no sound coming out, then in a second the music BLASTED out of the speakers.
"Whoa!" I quickly turned the volume all the way down.
Stella looked at me with huge eyes, "Ahh..." She said quietly, "That was scary."
I laughed, "Again. Stella. You're so jumpy."
"Well YEAH! That was just like. BLEH!"
She threw her hands into the air showing a throwing action of some sort.
"Yes it was. Now lets fix that."
I turned the volume up. The song playing I didn't like too much. I started to skip through the songs that where on the CD Play list.  I was probably going too fast, i could barely tell what song was what.
"WAIT!"
I took my hand off the next button.
"I love that song!" She reached over excitedly and pressed the previous button.
I listened, it took me a second to understand the cord to get it. Yellow by Coldplay. I was surprised that she knew what it was by just hearing split second of the song.
"I like this song too. It's one of my all time favorites."
"Me too!" She shrieked.
We didn't say anything, just listened to the music. Stella started to sing along with the lyrics. She wasn't about to be the next Justin Bieber (yes, 'cause Justin Bieber sounds like a girl. Yet he's extremely popular. Why? I don't know. I think these girls that are obsessed with him are crazy.) But I loved her voice. It was, sweet, very Stella-ish.
I took my eyes off the road for a moment to steal a glance at her. Stella's brown hair going all over, hitting her in the face as if it was trying to smother her. She put her hands up, grabbing all her hair trying to keep it back. She then looked over at me. Catching me looking at her, a faint easy going smile came to her lips.
"What?"
"Nothing. Just your hair is going crazy!"
"Yes. I realised that. Psh, stupid hair." she dropped her hands, letting her hair free again.
She leaned back, placing her head on the head rest looking out the window.  The sun streaming in on her, making her skin look so touchable. Her mouth moving to the words of the song.  She looked just so beautiful sitting there and not even trying.
Yeah. I felt my self falling for her. There was no way to deny it.
