Dear Someone,
You thought you were the world to someone.
Really though, you were just a summer breeze. Cooling them off for a moment, making them happy; thankful you were there.
Then, you're gone and they never really thank you for it or think back to you. You were there for a brief moment, then you disappeared.
Why do people let that happen? Let something good glide past them, glancing at their beauty for only those seconds they are there, then let them keep moving on? Were is the good in that?
Is because us as people think we are not worth of actually having someone that is perfect for us, or that we are so superficial that we only go for what's in style instead of how precious it is?
Take for instance.
Teenagers now. A majority of them think that being stick thin and orange is the way to look. And to match that look is to go out and sleep with everyone in sight while you are so drunk there isn't eve a blur to remember it.
Yes. Super attractive. Something everyone wants to end up with in the long run. Now I'm not saying this is every one out there. But, for what i have gathered. That's what gets you noticed.
What happened to knowing what someones heart is like? What thoughts run thoughts their head? What they dream about, things that make them want to change the world? Those things that are important.
Yet, those people who have a deeper connection to them selfs besides knowing what shade of orange they are -because there is a difference between mac&cheese and tangerine- get passed by. They keep gliding through life just waiting for someone to grab them. Protect them from hurt.
Making you their world, instead of just the summer breeze.

Hunger Games
Dear Someone,
So! I just recently (meaning last night at like 2 in the morning) finished reading the last book in "Then Hunger Games" trilogy. I loved it. Every book. I thought they were well written and really painted a mental picture for you. Which is important to have in every book or else it's not worth reading.
On the other hand, like with every book, There were a few things I would have liked to change.
Like one being a few things about the main character Katniss but that's just me. Another would have been how it ended.
(I'm going to try and not give too much away here so no worries)
But you might have heard that she goes crazy. Like, off the deep end. So that's what I was expecting while reading it. I was ready for it, but when I actually got to it, she wasn't crazy. She was just having an extreme state of grieving. She had lost a lot of people. Think about it. If you had lost a laundry list of people wouldn't you go slightly mad? I would so I saw where that was coming from. The end of the book did not end with a bang, it was very mild. But it was a nice ended to an extremely active book.
Ummmm.... What else.....
Oh! so the movie for the first one is coming out in March. (I'm supper excited :) and you know what..
I am super excited to see Peeta... Cause he is played by Josh Hutcherson.... I love that actor... I mean...
Look at him!!!
<<<
I mean, who WOULDN'T like that ?! ;)
Anyway, I'm probably gonna get smacking in the theater by one of my friends because I shall be slightly freaking out when he comes on the screen.
Not gonna lie. It happens in any movie with an attractive actor.
Anyway!
... That's all I can think to say about the book with out talking about things that happened in it. And that would give away too much for people who haven't/still reading it.

"Buddy The Elf, What's Your Favorite Color?"
Dear Someone,
It's the Christmas season and everyone is gearing up for the morning that you finally get to rip open all those presents that have been sitting under the tree just taunting you all month.
However, I think the best part of Christmas are the days that are leading up to the big day to be quite honest. Get's you excited :D
Sitting around, drinking hot chocolate, making cookies, eating far too much and telling stories about past Christmas's. All very important. Yet... My favorite thing are the Christmas movies.
My favorite?
I have to say is Elf starring Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel.
I used to not like it (like most people) I can see why, it's just a little weird first time around.
But once you just embrace the Christmas loving man who grew up as a elf his whole life and just wants to find his real family, you love it :)
How could you not eventually want to watch this movie on repeat????
It's cute, whimsical, and makes you just smile :) Also, there is love. Love is aways needed in a movie if you ask me.
But you know what my favorite part it?
When Buddy takes Jovie (Zooey Deschanel) out on a date and takes her to all the places he thought were cool when he first came to New York.
Yes, some of the places he took her were rather lame but, the fact that he wanted to share that with her is cute, and expresses his feelings for her in a way that most guys wouldn't really think to do.
But, it also takes a special kind of girl to go along with it and have fun out on the date like she did.
Yes, sit down dinners at a fancy place with a piano playing in the back ground with candles lit everywhere is exciting but... There is something that seems more appealing to me about having a little adventure.
One where it's just about going random places and pure fun. No plans, no reservations, just showing up somewhere and making a night of it, driving around and getting lost together and stumbling upon something new.
It's getting to know the other person, if you drive or just walk around. You end up feeling up the night with stories after stories. So really, adventures do two things for ya.
1. You get to know each other really well and also have fun on top of it with out it being supper awkward.
2. You now have a supper cool story to tell you're friends that just might make them jealous from the seer cuteness of your evening with the fella ;)
I don't know, it seems like the best way to fall in love in stead of some right-off-the-bat incredibly intense romantic relationship. Fun seems more relaxing and easy to manage.
Anyway, back to the movie!
They had an adventure and fell in love. That's what I like about that movie... That and Buddy found his dad and saves Santa on Christmas Eve... That was also good :)

Pausing Video Games to Reply = LOVE ;)
Dear Someone,
Going back and rereading past text messages that make you get butterflies all over again are the best, I must say.
You don't want to, but you can't help it. It happens to anyone who has a spare moment to kill. So, you end up pulling you're phone out quickly and scanning through them from the beginning.
Looking over them, you can actually let them sit longer in you're thoughts because you are not in a panic to think of a witty reply with on the spot. You get to actually soak up what the words say on your little phone screen. Making it next to impossible not to blush and smile like a kid on christmas morning.
Well, that's the good part at least.
Being able to go back over them can also be a curse. Being a teenage girl with hopeless romantic fantasies of this guy being your Prince Charming, they tend to read too much into it. And honestly, I know everyone has done that, can't deny it. It happens to the best of us unfortunately...
Yet... You can't help but slightly freak out when you had asked him what he was up to and he replied saying "Playin xbox. You? :)"
Everyone knows that if a guy pauses his video games to text you back or at all... There is defiantly something going on his end ;)
Which I must say, makes it even harder to not read into the winky faces, asking how you're really doing when you say "I'm fine", and texting you when they get home after y'all hung out and wants to talk for hours on end even though you talked all night while being together.
Can't really blame you're self for building up that hope!
Yet, there is always that dreadful fear that, he might not actually like you. He's just being a really good friend. Or, just doesn't see you like that and actually just likes talking to you and the feelings aren't there.
Those thoughts are inevitable to avoid. Even if you were 99.9% sure he liked you.
That .1% can get ya.
But come on... Texting you while playing video games??
Kind of a big deal. ;)

But I Doubt That
Dear Someone,
Everyone has those random down times were they are just kind of chillin' out and just thinking about stuff. Like. I don't know, I always find my self reflecting on Middle School.
Like me, everyone on the face of the planet; their worst years were Middle School. Those are the years of the uncomfortable transition from a child to a teenager. You don't know how to deal with zits let alone make-up. You gotta figure out what clothes are cool and what aren't. The constant feeling of fitting in. Looking back, you were basally trying to be a clone of someone who started the newest trend for the twelve year olds...
It's kinda like Twitter and everyone is retweeting something.
Fortunately, Inever reached the full on copy-cat level. (Who knows what I'd be like if I had... o.o)
But, lot's of stuff happened... More like friends. Making them, losing them. That stuff. But one moment sticks out in my brain all the time that just makes me want to hid under a blanket from the awkwardness that is forever tied with it.
This kid. (a very stupid boy if you ask me.) told me he liked me. And after a few awkward encounters of trying to flirt we ended up kissing. (Which is a big deal! I wasn't one of those girls who would be givin' out free kisses in the slide at recess) But clearly our relationship went down the tubes after a few hours. And I was made fun of for a while... Great right? Just one of the OTHER beautiful things about middle school. Teasing.
Anyway. The point of me telling that snip it of my life, I'm friends with this guy on Facebook. I just see his profile picture and it's just his face RIGHT THERE smiling as he stares at me scrollin' though my news feeds. It's so awkward cause it's like...
Really?
The one time I had anything remotely close to "love" and it had to be you? Of all 6 billion people out there in the world? You? Really? Clearly someone out there hates me -.-
And there he is on Facebook with a new girl friend every now and then. And I'm just left sitting there thinking... Girly, you must be one desperate girl or his actually changed a lot to be a somewhat tolerable to be around...

Why Must You Happen Today??
Dear Someone,
You know how holidays are the only days out of the year that one actually uses their camera -Well. Parents at least- and they always have to have a ton of pictures of you to then put into a photo album. Those things are like time capsules. Yet, every relative and friend who likes to look at you're awkward pictures will see it. . .
But you know what I noticed -this might just be me, or it could happen to other people too. If not... This post is gonna be awkward o.o - BUT!
You always get huge zits before a certain camera occasion!
Like, "Oh hey! Yeah take a million pictures of me and there is basically a huge blemish on my face... thanks."
So, trying to avoid this situation when you're Mt. Everest will be forever captured in a photo graph. You attempt at putting cover up on! I mean it looks pefrectly fine when they do it in commericals and on movie starts. They look flawless! It will look great on you too, right?
Oh wait a sec.
You're whole life is an awkward moment.
So, you tried to fix it. But then after you smear coverup and a flurry of cover up. It looks worse then it did before. I mean then it was just slightly pink. But no. Now it's as if a neon sign is right there screaming "HEY LOOK AT ME!!!"
Then you're left sitting there looking down at you're outfit, "Maybe a ski make would go with this...?"
Well, I wish I had a beauty tips to avoid this awful thing from ever happening to someone on the day of.
But I don't.
